إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ
Inna aAAtaynakaalkawthar
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muḥammad], al-Kawthar.
“The Abundance”
Surah Al-Kawthar (الكوثر) is the 108th chapter of the Qur'an, a Meccan surah of 3 ayahs whose name means "The Abundance". It was the 15th surah revealed to the Prophet ﷺ. Inna aAAtaynakaalkawthar
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muḥammad], al-Kawthar.
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ
Fasalli lirabbika wanhar
So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice [to Him alone].
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ
Inna shani-aka huwa al-abtar
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.1
