Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the SABR web app at get-sabr.com and the SABR mobile apps on iOS and Android (together, “SABR”). By using SABR you agree to be bound by them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

2. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app, disrupt the service, harvest data about other users, or use SABR for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

3. Free features and Pro

SABR is free to use with limited access. SABR Pro unlocks additional features via a subscription. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and billed monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

4. Billing (web)

Payments for the web are processed by Stripe. Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period at the current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription.

5. Billing (mobile)

iOS purchases are billed by Apple; Android purchases by Google. Manage those subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account. Refunds are governed by the respective store's policies.

6. Content

The Quranic text displayed in the app is served from the Quran.com API (text_uthmani). Translations and phonetic aids are provided for study; they are not a substitute for a qualified teacher.

7. Intellectual property

The SABR name, logo, design, code and non-Quranic content are the property of the company. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to reuse them.

8. Warranties

SABR is provided “as is”. We do our best to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Your use is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from SABR is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or via email. Continued use after an update means acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights.
