Dua after a bad dream
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Aʿūdhu bi’llāhi mina’sh-shayṭāni’r-rajīm.
“I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.”
When to say it
Said upon seeing a distressing dream, then spit lightly to the left three times and turn onto the other side.

The Prophet ﷺ said a bad dream is from Satan; whoever does this and does not mention it to anyone will not be harmed by it.
