Dua for leaving the home

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

Bismi’llāh, tawakkaltu ʿala’llāh, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi’llāh.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

When to say it

Said when stepping out of the house.

Virtue & benefit

The Prophet ﷺ said whoever says it is told: you are guided, sufficed and protected — and Satan turns away from him.
