Dua for a sick person

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ

As’alu’llāha’l-ʿAẓīma Rabba’l-ʿarshi’l-ʿaẓīmi an yashfiyak.

I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you.

When to say it

Said seven times beside someone who is ill (whose time has not come).

Virtue & benefit

The Prophet ﷺ said whoever visits a sick person and says this seven times, Allah will cure them of that illness.
