Dua after wudu (ablution)

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ashhadu an lā ilāha illa’llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

When to say it

Said after completing wudu.

Virtue & benefit

The Prophet ﷺ said whoever completes wudu well then says this, the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him to enter by whichever he wishes.
